Chemainus Valley Museum Quilt Raffle
December 2017's winner: Terri McCulloch of Vancouver
On December 15th, Val Galvin snapped this picture of Betty Hewitt in front of Chemainus' 49th Parallel drawing the winning Chemainus Valley Museum quilt raffle ticket along with Bart van Norden and Amy Brophy.
The winning ticket #102 belongs to Terri McCulloch who will take delivery of her quilt when she visits her mother-in-law Nancy of Chemainus for Christmas!
The expansion project is finally coming to the end. All that is left is to finish the new main floor and match the old Museum to the new, with new lighting, paint and remodeling. We hope to have the Museum finished by the summer of 2018. All that holds us back is funding to complete the job. With higher cost and new building codes the Society still has $150,000 to raise to complete the build. Any and all donations are appreciated.
